The 26th SEA GAMES

This year, this month, November 11th - 22nd 2011, Indonesia become the host of ASEAN Sport Olympiad.  What I get from this event?

1. At the end of October, I heard that some of the arena haven't finished yet. Do you know that's frustrating? But on November 11th, at the opening ceremony, I was shockingly amazed by the preparation of South Sumatra. By the time, they finished it very well and even made it awesome, majestic. Even the rain disturbed them, it still wow for me.
2. Indonesia become the overall winner of this Olympiad. With Congratulations ! Although till now, I'm still thinking it's because Indonesia has it benefits from becoming the host. But, as I know, Indonesia DO HAVE GREAT AND COMPETENT ATHLETES (NOTE THAT!)

3. This is the event where Indonesia seemed UNITED. We're all in one nation, one goal, one heart supporting Indonesia, no matter what.
4. Thanks to Sea Games, finally the road in front of Mall Of Indonesia (MOI) and "Gedung Judo" at Kelapa Gading, renovated !!!! Because at Kelapa Gading, there were 2 sport which held there, Judo and Basketball.
5. I think, Indonesian people has more respect to others. Compared to some country (sorry to say, just being honest), we still can admit and agree if others are better. It's not like 'them' who always say bad thing and NEVER RESPECT OTHER.

Last night, the final of Football match was held. Thousand of Indonesian supporters and few of Malaysian fulfilled the Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta. The final match was between Indonesia and Malaysia, competing to get the gold medal. After the exhausting 90 minutes match, they scored 1-1, so there'll be additional match, 30 minutes. In additional match both teams didn't scored any, so they must do penalties. Unluckily Indonesia lost 1 penalty :( And you know what? Most of Indonesian supporters cried, people who watch on a big screen screamed, my roommates and I didn't want to see the penalties, we're too afraid, we only knew the situation based on what we heard from neighbors and twitter. Yep, Malaysia got the gold medal with score 4-5 for Malaysia. But that's not the point what I want to tell ya, I'll explain it on the next post. :) And maybe I'll write it in Indonesian, because I think it will be more meaningful than in English. Oh ! and one more, maybe the next post will contains lotta arguments, critique, satire, and can make some people feel mad of me. Firstly, I'll say sorry for them who's gonna be the victim of my sarcastic comments, I just try to tell what's on my mind. ;)
